Union Leader, Educator, and Russian Orthodox Priest Featured in 9^th Riverside Cemetery Tour

    The Albion Historical Society's popular Riverside Cemetery Tour is back for the ninth year in a row. The tour will take place on Sunday, October 11, from 1-3 p.m. and will cover sections 129, 119, and 120 in the back south corner. This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn about and remember the many various people who have shaped Albion over the centuries.

    Names you may see on the tour include: Oliver Adams, William Beck, William Billinghurst, Valentine Bold, Stanley Chlystek, Chaney (Davis, Bean, Flowers) Copeland, Harry Dubina, Ruth Ferguson, Estis Howard Sr., Goldie Klinkel, James Little, Walter Moorehead, the O'Dell Family, Zeb Pierce, Floyd Slocum, Rev. Nikanor A. Sokoloff, George Tymkew, Nick Vasiloff, Wochholz Family (Gottlieb, Louise Haeske, Carl, Charlotte, Marcella, August Wetzel, Jr., and Edna), Pvt. Irvin Yoder, and Mefodi Zuraviell

    Each grave will be featured in a five-minute highlight. Tour guide booklets will be available for a $5 donation at the event or afterwards at the Gardner House Museum. Booklets may also be ordered by mail from the Albion Historical Society for a $15 donation. Dress for the weather and terrain.
