Local owner combines unparalleled area knowledge with seamless systems to deliver

Pleasanton, CA — August 1, 2025 — NextHome is proud to announce our newest
addition to the franchise, NextHome ACE Real Estate Services, located in Albion,
Michigan. The brokerage joins the growing NextHome franchise that currently has more than
600 active office locations across the country.

NextHome ACE Real Estate Services offers local real estate expertise throughout Albion,
Springport, Homer, Concord, Spring Arbor, Marshall, Parma, and the remainder of Calhoun
County.

NextHome ACE Real Estate Services is owned by Joe Verbeke, a community-centered
REALTOR® with expertise in residential real estate, including property management,
investment, resale, and multi-family properties.

Joe’s background working in public education, the family grocery store, and franchise
ownership created a passion for lifting those around him.

In 2018, Joe combined his talents to create a bustling real estate career. He soon opened ACE
Real Estate Services. The company thrived in the property management space, and Joe
developed a deep understanding of the construction quirks of Albion-area homes.

“After managing rental properties, I’ve become pretty tuned into building issues and what
tenants run into,” Joe said. “That experience helps a lot when I’m walking through homes with
buyers. I can usually either ease their concerns or point out things they should know. For sellers,
I’ve got a great network of contractors I work with all the time, so if something pops up, I can
make a call and get it handled fast. Those connections keep things smooth and stress-free for my
clients.”

Working alongside his mother in law, Joe helped people in his hometown achieve dreams they
thought were impossible.

“It’s incredibly meaningful helping someone realize they can own a home—especially when they
never thought it was possible,” Joe said. “Guiding a client from the rental cycle to
homeownership is a powerful process. Getting that transaction across the finish line is a dream
come true for someone who thought it was out of reach.”

Whatever accolades or awards come his way, Joe is always proudest of the lives he’s helped
change through real estate.

As demand for Joe’s business expanded, he knew that getting the right systems in place would
help him continue to provide excellent, personalized service to every client. After looking into
multiple franchise options, NextHome stood out.

“I saw that the people at NextHome take onboarding and what they do seriously,” Joe said. “It
wasn’t just a sales pitch - they really wanted to help me succeed and figure out if NextHome was
the right way for me to grow my career - or not.

After reaching out to other NextHome franchise owners for their feedback, Joe knew that

wasn’t just a tagline. After talking to those other franchise owners, I saw that this tagline actually
translated into everyday business practices. NextHome is a company that not only promises a
great culture, but delivers on it.”

Today, NextHome ACE Real Estate Services is accelerating Joe’s brand of people-first real estate
with the backing of a nationwide network.

“Although I’ve worn many hats around our small town, I am leaning into NextHome ACE Real
Estate Services,” Joe said. “There’s no problem too big or too small that we can’t figure out
together.”

Joe and his wife Emily have been married for 21 years and they are the proud parents of a 16-
year-old son. Not only is their son an Eagle Scout, but he is also building his own local lawn
maintenance business.

“He’s definitely cut from my wife’s cloth, for sure,” Joe said with a proud smile.
Emily is the owner of Foundry Bakehouse and Deli, which has grown into a beloved local
favorite over the past six years.

Together, the family enjoys eating and playing in their local Albion community. Joe also enjoys
running and biking in his spare time.
