BCAAR ANNOUNCES GRANT OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

Battle Creek, MI, December 1, 2025 – The Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® (BCAAR) is now accepting applications for its Community Grant Program. Applications are available online at https://bcaar.com/community/#grants and are due by noon on February 2, 2026.

Launched in 2005, the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS® Grant Program serves greater Calhoun County residents in the areas of housing, community impact and enhancement, and basic needs. The Association believes in supporting local organizations to make our community a better place to live. In 2025, BCAAR awarded $35,500 to several non-profits, including: Disability Network of Southwest Michigan, Gracious Homes Inc., Habitat for Humanity BC, Haven of Rest Ministries, S.A.F.E. Place, and South Michigan Food Bank. Since its inception, BCAAR has given over $239,500 back to the community.

“Our members are deeply rooted in this community, and their generosity fuels the impact of this grant program,” said Amanda Lankerd, CEO of the Battle Creek Area Association of REALTORS®. “By supporting organizations that meet essential needs and expand access to housing, we’re investing in the long-term well-being of families across Calhoun County.”

The application deadline for the BCAAR Grant Program is Monday, February 2, 2026, at noon.  Interested applicants should direct questions about grant proposals to staff@bcaar.com  or 269.962.5193.
