Earth Day Presentation by Brett Welch of Knauf Insulation

Wednesday, March 18 Presentation by Brett Welch of Knauf Insulation (formerly Guardian Industries) Director of Sustainability and Insulation Academy at Knauf Insulation, North America, Welch will show how the company uses recycled glass in its insultation products, and actions Knass is taking to work with the community and the College. 7 p.m., Norris Science Center Towsley Hall.

The 50th anniversary of Earth Day doesn't take place until April, but Albion College starts the celebration in March, thanks to a major gift from Bruce Harper, '67, and his wife Jane. The Harpers gave more than $100,000 to Albion College for climate change education and action, and to commemorate Earth Day. All events are free and open to the public.
