            • Black Squirrel Bluegrass and Americana Music Festival

Join us for a full day of bluegrass and Americana with attitude! Albion Malleable is proud to announce Black Squirrel 2, coming Saturday July 1 to downtown Albion.
This year's festival will once again feature our returning champions - Denver based Chain Station, as well as the 2022 Telluride Bluegrass Festival winner and the International Bluegrass Music Association's "Momentum" band of the year, Michigan's own Full Cord!!! This powerhouse double feature will be supported by some incredible Michigan musicians including Creature of One, Round Creek String Band, The Make-Believe Spurs (featuring The Wallens), and LYNN and the Moonshine Runners.
The stage will be on the bricks on 400 block of Superior Street in front of the brewery. Albion Malleable will be have a beer tent and outdoor seating. Additional limited table seating will be available, but we encourage everyone to bring their own lawn chair to sit between bouts of dancing in the street. There will be food vendors and a maker's market featuring local artisans hosted by Yellow Bird Chocolate Shop. There will be an additional beer garden stage with music between sets - host band and additional details to be announced.
This amazing event is coming to you at no cost thanks to the generous support of our sponsors. Please take the time to thank them when you see them!
