DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, March 25 Movie\, "Anthropocene\, In 2016\, a team of scientists known as the Anthropocene Working Group\,= recommended a formal declaration of the end of Earth's Holocene epoch\, stating that the world is now in the Anthropocene epoch   a time when humans now change the Earth more than all the planet's natural processes combined. This film documents global examples of incredible human activity. 7 p.m.\, downtown Bohm Theatre.\n\n \n\nThe 50th anniversary of Earth Day doesn't take place until April\, but Albion College starts the celebration in March\, thanks to a major gift from Bruce Harper\, '67\, and his wife Jane. The Harpers gave more than $100\,000 to Albion College for climate change education and action\, and to commemorate Earth Day. All events are free and open to the public.
