About the Cardboard Classic

Albion's first Cardboard Classic Sled Race was held at Victory Park in 1991 with fifteen participants. Last year's Classic featured over 100 entries from the Albion area and across the mid-west.

Entries are as elaborate as a Cinderella's coach complete with horses made of corrugated materials and as simple as a cardboard box. In past years, spectators came here from as far away as New Jersey!

The Cardboard Classic is open to children and adults (age 3 and up) and is great fun for the entire family -- as a participant or a spectator. And there are no entry or admission fees!
